Sous Chef is essential to our culinary team, collaborating closely with the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and day-to-day operations… Join our friendly team and enjoy our high-paced, energic atmosphere, where teamwork is fundamental to our success.

Requirements

  • Preparing and cooking menu items

  • Assisting in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant

  • Highlight the restaurants very own farm by utilizing seasonal vegetables and fruits through creative weekly features

  • Oversee proper cleaning and sanitation of work area and all related kitchen equipment

  • Communicate effectively with both front-of-house and back-of-house staff

  • Meet deliverables set out by the Executive Chef, General Manager or Assistant

  • General Manager

  • Other tasks as assigned


Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid Food Safe certificate

  • 5+ years of culinary experience and a passion for creating positive guest experiences

  • Ability to push, pull, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds

  • Possess a positive attitude and works well with other team members

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong leadership abilities

  • Excellent multitasking and effective time management skills

  • Efficient and organized with attention to detail

  • Strong communication, customer service, and problem solving skills

  • Ability to take initiative, be self-motivated, and perform at an independent, accountable, and dependable level

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite programs

  • Flexible schedule
