About the Role
Quick Service Cooks have the opportunity to work and receive valuable training in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This is a part-time, hourly, events-based position. A typical shift includes:
– Performing food preparation for Quick Service stations located on the concourse level with a focus on quality, food preparation standards and consistency
– Implementing and enforcing sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of the kitchen
– Other duties as required
Requirements
Must be able to work weekdays, weeknights, weekends, and holidays with various start times
Must be able to safely lift up to 40 lbs.
Must be able to stand during scheduled shift, withstand repetitive walking, reaching, and bending for long periods of time
Experience in a high volume kitchen is an asset
Completion of Food Safe Certificate is an asset
Non-Canadian residents must hold a valid work permit expiring no earlier than October 2024
This is an onsite role at Rogers Arena in downtown Vancouver
