About the Role

As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for:

* Preparing and cooking menu items in your assigned section.
* Ensuring the highest quality and consistency of dishes.
* Maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
* Following recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications.
* Assisting with inventory and stock rotation.
* Adhering to all health and safety regulations.
* Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
* Assisting in training junior kitchen staff as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications:


  • Must hold a valid open work permit in Canada.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a line cook in a high-volume restaurant or hotel.

  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.

  • Culinary training or relevant certifications are an asset.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
