About the Role
As a Guest Services Agent, you will work onsite at the Sicamous RV & Cabin Resort in British Columbia and provide support to the Resort Manager(s) with the operations of the resort including the operations of the store, amenities, check-in of guests, food service if applicable and other aspects of the resort experience for our guests.
As a seasonal business, the expectation is that there may be scheduled work on weekends and/or statutory holidays during the summer season. This is a seasonal position running from April to September each year, with full-time and part-time availability. Students are encouraged to apply; alternate schedules can be accommodated for those who are required to plan their summer jobs around the school year.
Requirements
Greet guests upon arrival and engage in friendly and professional communication at all times to support Pinnacle Lifestyle’s goal of providing superior customer service;
Assist in the coordination of reservations online, over the phone and in person, in a fast-paced environment;
Assist in store operations, food and beverage, and product sales. Conduct transactions in accordance with Pinnacle’s Standard Operating Manual;
Assist in our annual charitable event Camping For Kids in partnership with the Starlight Foundation;
Coordinate group activities and resort events during long weekends;
Conduct daily cash outs and assist in monthly inventory checks;
Assist in customer service in connection with rental amenities;
Provide information pertaining to available services and facilities at the resort;
Maintain informed of local attractions and activities to promote to our guests;
Assist in keeping the common areas clean and tidy, including housekeeping duties as required;
Address any customer needs in a timely and efficient manner;
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment; and
Other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements
Previous experience in a customer service role is required, including experience with a point-of-sale (POS) terminal;
Previous experience in a hospitality environment or related field is considered an asset;
Exceptional interpersonal skills and customer focused mindset;
Ability to comprehend and perform basic mathematical operations;
Adaptable, flexible and dependable;
Ability to stand for long hours and a desire to work in an outdoor environment. Reasonable accommodations will be made for those with limitations;

Passion for the outdoors!
