About the Role

As a Guest Services Agent, you will work onsite at the Sicamous RV & Cabin Resort in British Columbia and provide support to the Resort Manager(s) with the operations of the resort including the operations of the store, amenities, check-in of guests, food service if applicable and other aspects of the resort experience for our guests.

As a seasonal business, the expectation is that there may be scheduled work on weekends and/or statutory holidays during the summer season. This is a seasonal position running from April to September each year, with full-time and part-time availability. Students are encouraged to apply; alternate schedules can be accommodated for those who are required to plan their summer jobs around the school year.

Requirements

  • Greet guests upon arrival and engage in friendly and professional communication at all times to support Pinnacle Lifestyle’s goal of providing superior customer service;

  • Assist in the coordination of reservations online, over the phone and in person, in a fast-paced environment;

  • Assist in store operations, food and beverage, and product sales. Conduct transactions in accordance with Pinnacle’s Standard Operating Manual;

  • Assist in our annual charitable event Camping For Kids in partnership with the Starlight Foundation;

  • Coordinate group activities and resort events during long weekends;

  • Conduct daily cash outs and assist in monthly inventory checks;

  • Assist in customer service in connection with rental amenities;

  • Provide information pertaining to available services and facilities at the resort;

  • Maintain informed of local attractions and activities to promote to our guests;

  • Assist in keeping the common areas clean and tidy, including housekeeping duties as required;

  • Address any customer needs in a timely and efficient manner;

  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment; and

  • Other duties that may be assigned from time to time.


Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer service role is required, including experience with a point-of-sale (POS) terminal;

  • Previous experience in a hospitality environment or related field is considered an asset;

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and customer focused mindset;

  • Ability to comprehend and perform basic mathematical operations;

  • Adaptable, flexible and dependable;

  • Ability to stand for long hours and a desire to work in an outdoor environment. Reasonable accommodations will be made for those with limitations;

  • Passion for the outdoors!
