About the Role

• Train and supervise staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
• Create new dishes and improve on existing ones
• Check kitchen equipment to make sure they are always in good condition
• Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales and inventory
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
• Mass production for specialty food items for the central kitchen
• Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions

Requirements

• More than 5 years of experience in Chinese dim sum and noodle making

• Formal training in culinary arts is preferred

• Flexibility to take on various shifts and available to work on weekends/evenings

• Hard working and great team player

• Detail oriented

• Able to communicate in English and Chinese

Salary/Wage
