About the Role
Tour guiding – We are seeking individuals with destination knowledge of the Canadian Rockies and British Columbia to apply. Fluency in English and the ability to communicate effectively are essential. Creative storytelling in the context of history and events that have occurred in various places and communities can bring excitement and create a rewarding experience. Requirements
Safety: Ensuring the safety of the tour group is a top priority. Guides should provide safety instructions and be prepared to handle emergencies.
Logistics: Managing the logistics of the tour, including transportation, accommodations, and meals, if applicable. They may also need to handle tickets, reservations, and itineraries.
Communication: Clear and effective communication with tour participants is essential. Guides should be able to speak clearly, answer questions, and provide directions.
Interpersonal Skills: Building rapport with tour participants and creating a friendly and comfortable atmosphere is crucial. Being patient, attentive, and courteous is important.
Problem-Solving: Tour guides should be able to handle unexpected situations or disruptions during the tour, such as bad weather or changes in the itinerary.
Cultural Sensitivity: Being respectful of the local culture and customs is important. Guides should educate participants on appropriate behavior and etiquette.

Salary/Wage
300-350 per day plus tips
