About the Role
Represents Company in a professional manner at all times.
Reviews work schedules.
Establishes work priorities.
Develops, implements and manages the execution of capital reserve projects to maintain and improve the property building and facilities.
Schedules repair, maintenance, and insure continuous production of operations.
Interfaces with other department heads on work priorities and activities.
Develops and implements preventative maintenance and facilities programs.
Plans, develops, and implements procedures to improve operations.
Reviews production, quality control, maintenance and engineering reports, and statistics to plan and modify work activities.
Directs training and development of team members.
Prepares departmental budget and monitors expenditures.
Reports to management on activities of department.
Interacts with general/sub-contractors on projects.
Complies with all regulatory agency requirements to maintain required permits and/or licenses.
Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies.
Maintains pools and spas to standards.
Ability to be available after hours for emergency call in.
Manage inventory for supplies, equipment and tools, ensuring adequate inventory.
Initiate, implement and lead the health and safety initiatives and protocols for resorts, including WorkSafe BC compliance and reporting
Be the first point of contact for security incidents within the resort
Reviews and updates property health, safety and fire protocols.
Review and approve department payroll.
Completes all required Company trainings and compliance courses as assigned.
Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Technical/Trade school certification related to facilities, maintenance or related field.
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in facilities, maintenance, or related field is required.
A minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience required.
Experience in project management an asset
Valid Driver’s License (non-commercial) – must be location specific an asset.
Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Certification an asset.
Salary/Wage
75,000.00 - $85,000.00
