The Housekeeping Specialist is accountable for maintaining cleanliness within the lodge, chalets, and owner’s residence. This role necessitates a meticulous attention to cleanliness standards and a dedication to surpassing guest expectations and comfort during their stay. The incumbent should exhibit a proactive disposition and take initiative in upholding exceptional standards for tasks and responsibilities. In addition to maintaining cleanliness, the Housekeeping Specialist will participate in breakfast service, après appetizer service, and retail store sales on a rotational basis.
Requirements
Maintain the cleanliness of guest rooms, chalets, guest bathrooms, and common areas in the lodge on a daily basis.
Perform daily cleaning and vacuuming of the entire lodge as needed.
During transition days, ensure the meticulous cleaning of all guest accommodations, including changing bedding and towels. This aspect is critical as it forms the guest’s initial impression.
Manage laundry tasks, including washing, drying, and folding. Maintain a tidy and well-organized housekeeping area.
Set up the breakfast table for the following morning’s service and be present during service hours.
Prepare the après food service area in advance of guest arrival. Monitor and replenish food items as required, promptly informing kitchen staff of any shortages. Provide attentive and courteous service to guests.
Contribute to the arrangement of the dining room for dinner service and assist in the lodge’s retail shop during the evening hours.
