About the Role
• This role is a cleaning role which encompasses caring for a small hotel inside and outside
• Work with housekeeping staff to move linens to from laundry, clear garbage from rooms and assist with moving furniture
• Clean common areas, hallways, rooftop patio around perimeter of the building
• Clean suites, including bedrooms, living room and kitchen
• Make beds and restock suite amenities (towels, coffee, tea)
• Responsible for ensuring quality and clean facilities throughout the hotel
• Track supplies and inventory for cleaning supplies and guest amenities
• Stock supply rooms with towels, linens and amenities
• Work with Maintenance Manager to complete regular hotel cleaning and maintenance year round
• Painting (touch ups)
• Assist with repair work, renovations and replacement of equipment/furniture
• Regular maintenance on appliances and vacuums
• Clean and maintain gas BBQ’s year round
• Liaison with guests to provide assistance with TV’s, hotel related questions and luggage/bellman services
Requirements
Part time is minimum 3 days per week for shifts ranging from 8-4 to 9-5. Must be available for weekends
Must be people oriented, as you will be interacting with hotel guests
Problem solver, willing to learn and collaborate
Non-smoker
Looking for someone in good physical health as the position requires heavy lifting and endurance at times
Be able to use manual and power tools and do ladder work
Our hotel has a small staff who work closely together in communication and tasks
We are looking for someone who has a team spirit but capable of working independently
Must be legally able to work in Canada
